Bloody Breast milk OMG!! What to do?

Updated: Apr 12, 2020

Did you know you can still give your breastfed baby this milk below! Blood in breast milk is not harmful to your breastfed baby and is a common occurrence in the first week or so after a baby's birth if using a pump because you may not have the correct flange size for pumping.

Other causes are: cracked nipples and capillaries in the breasts

I would suggest you focus on using your pump correctly, be sure your flange sizes are a comfortable fit and talk to a Lactation Consultant in your area for more one on one personal assistance! And of course you can always contact me to find Lactation consultants in your area! #youaretheBOM #youdeservetheworld
